        "text": "For the April IndieWeb Movie Club, my selection is Arrival (2016).\n\nIt is a unique approach to the science fiction story of aliens visiting Earth. Even if you don\u2019t usually like the genre, I hope you\u2019ll give it a chance because there\u2019s some thought-provoking questions and deeper emotion in it. I\u2019ve found it quite moving on multiple viewings.\n\nA couple years ago I remembered that it was based on Ted Chiang\u2019s short story \u201cStory of Your Life\u201d and I read it in his collection Stories of Your Life and Others. I enjoyed the whole collection and gave it five stars. If you enjoy the movie, I recommend checking it out as well. I lean towards recommending the movie first because it is more fleshed out and potentially a stronger impact in that form.         "html": "<p>For the April <a href=\"https://indieweb.org/IndieWeb_Movie_Club\">IndieWeb Movie Club</a>, my selection is <a href=\"https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arrival_(film)\">Arrival</a> (2016).</p>\n\n<p>It is a unique approach to the science fiction story of aliens visiting Earth. Even if you don\u2019t usually like the genre, I hope you\u2019ll give it a chance because there\u2019s some thought-provoking questions and deeper emotion in it. I\u2019ve found it quite moving on multiple viewings.</p>\n\n<p>A couple years ago I remembered that it was based on Ted Chiang\u2019s short story \u201cStory of Your Life\u201d and I read it in his collection Stories of Your Life and Others. I enjoyed the whole collection and <a href=\"https://gregorlove.com/2023/01/review-stories-of-your-life/\">gave it five stars</a>. If you enjoy the movie, I recommend checking it out as well. I lean towards recommending the movie first because it is more fleshed out and potentially a stronger impact in that form.
