The other day I was inspired by the people at Answer in Progress on YouTube to start another website. I’ve wanted to do some sort of link recommendation for a long time, but never had a good way to do it. They showed a good example, so I decided to be inspired by it. The site is live at the link below.

https://thingsiclicked.com

Claude vibe coded the site based on theirs and then I customized to taste. It uses Notion to collect the ideas and pull the items from. It’s a static html site hosted through cloudflare. AIP’s site which I took inspiration from can be found below.

I updated my /now/ page with the most recent:

- media (books, music, movies, podcasts, video games, etc.) that I've engaged

- coding and personal projects I'm working on,

- notable or meaningful articles I've clipped regarding AI, Labor vs Capital, and the societal decline of emotional regulation

- and hikes I've completed

Figuring things out always feels good. 🙂 The desktop version of my Jekyll-powered blog now displays footnotes on mouse hover using plain ol' HTML and CSS. No JS necessary! The existing footnote functionality is unchanged for people who prefer reading footnotes at the bottom of the page.

@Monikovskaya ¡Buenas!

https://vincentbreton.fr/on-se-recentre-sur-le-fediverse/

Last week I uninstalled all my social network apps and stopped checking the news etc to fully immerse myself in the #indieweb . Instead of mindlessly scrolling an algorithmic stream of AI and adverts, I’m browsing the fediverse and I’m loving it. Starting to feel like my old self

I wrote a note about behind the scenes of running the #IndieWeb Club #Bangalore mini-conference last weekend: https://abhinavsarkar.net/notes/2026-iwcb-se-bts/

#blog

Been thinking more about the #indieweb flex of hosting a blog and fediverse instance on the same domain. No split domain.

I could just run #Hollo on the domain and place my blog on top of it. When I build and deploy the site, it will also publish new posts to Hollo.

Similar to the #ActivityPub plugin for Wordpress but without Wordpress.
