A few weeks ago, my cloud sync tool deleted the source code for my blog. I'm not sure why it did that. I lost all the posts going back as far as early-April.
It was built with a static site generator, so whatever is on the server is fine, but I'd have to jump through hoops to get the builder back in working order.
It was easier to start over on a domain name I've been sitting on for years.
FOR YEARS!!!
Hey! Do you blog about Drupal? Do you have a Drupal project website? Are you just a big fan of Drupal and like to talk about it online?
Then check out this new webring I created just for Drupalers! It's the Drupalers Webring.
https://abmurrow.com/drupalers-webring
If you send in an application to join the webring, I'll review it and add you to the ring.
Applications form: https://abmurrow.com/form/drupalers-webring-application-fo
I manally review every application, so please be patient if it takes some time to get back.
Don't want to submit a form? I'll also accept a direct email or DM on mastodon with details about you and your website. Information is on the webpage I linked above.
Websites should talk about Drupal to some degree, or be users related to the Drupal universe. Non-code and non-developer websites are welcome to join!
Only rules: just be a Drupal enthusiast, please don't be an awful person (more details on the link), and make sure to display your webring code somewhere on your website, and you're good to go!
Come say hello, and let's build our own web community!
2026-06-26 · The Dollar's Momentum, the Usual Friction
When a single market story runs all week, the diary writes itself — but this one nearly didn't stop.

CSS gets taught as a thousand rules. The grammar underneath, the _why_ only ever gets whispered, never written down. So I wrote it down.
CSS Profile: an inquiry into the web document's identity, and the grammar of the CSS that gives it one.
Sibling to my last project, document. Fresh out of the workbench.

Nine years after I started by website, today I wrote about how I made it: https://abhinavsarkar.net/notes/2026-making-this-website/
Some fun simple web-based games I came across:
- https://boredzebra.com/100jumps/ - 1-tap jumping
- https://princechazz.com/ - Chess-inspired Roguelike
- https://dice-jaga.bryanhogan.com/ - Yahtzee-inspired Roguelike (mine)
Anyone know similar games?
A good deal of fun exploring CSS at #IndieWeb FrESH 053 yesterday. Particularly happy with this bit of nothing. https://codepen.io/artlung/pen/pvRwQao #FrontEnd
I've been doing a bunch of work on my own webmentions implementation so found this to be an interesting read.
Enriching webmentions from third-party platforms

You might have noticed we've gone back to a plain Mastodon UI.
With Mastodon v 4.6. we encountered a number of issues with our custom CSS, Bird UI.
We looked into a couple of options but have decided to stick with plain Mastodon for the time being.
We want indieweb.social to feel like a home to current users and familiar to new users.
We hope this solution will work for everyone (and for Mastodon to add more customisation soon!) ☁️ 💙
