        "text": "If any of your communities use Slack, especially the \u201cfree\u201d version, once in a while Slack seems to temporarily upgrade your \u201cSlack team\u201d to their \u201cPRO\u201d version (for 30 days).\n\nIn the Slack mobile app, you may see a dismissible banner like:\n\n\u201cPRO: Your team is on a free trial\u201d\n\nThis is your chance to go back and manually archive or follow-up on old dms and \u201csaved\u201d posts.\n\nIf you happen to use the bookmarks (AKA \u201cLater\u201d or \u201cSave for later\u201d) feature to collect Slack posts that you want to follow-up on later, you may have noticed that any such \u201csaved\u201d posts older than 30 days are usually no longer viewable.\n\nWhen your Slack instance is on a PRO free trial, you can once again view these older posts.\n\nUse this opportunity to go through any saved posts older than 30 days (maybe older than 15 days to give yourself a buffer, or all of them to clear them out) and decide what to do with them.\n\nIf there is anything about them you still want to save (for reference), copy them somewhere else accordingly, or if you saved them as a reminder to follow-up, copy them to a persistent plain text inbox, or if following-up will only take a few minutes, then take care of them.\n\nThe other thing you get longer term access to are direct messages (dms).\n\nSlack PRO provides you full access to your (potentially years of) dms, instead of only the past 30 days worth.
