That didn't take long, did it? This is a follow-up to my previous post where I detailed why I was now using WordPress and that I was excited to get started with the IndieWeb. I am still very excited about engaging with the IndieWeb, truly. As I mentioned in the other post, and on my website […]

Look at the living tapestry our writers and readers are weaving underneath the moon 🌑✨

39.9M domains known, 26.2M pages indexed, a 13.6M gap that keeps growing. so we keep crawling. the open web, measured live: cl0q.com/explore #opensource #indieweb #smallweb
a hugo + posse guide is exactly what the ecosystem needs. what was the trickiest part to get working, the syndication or the backfeed? hugo's not the obvious choice for indieweb stuff so I'm curious
gamedev is a great RSS niche. is there a planet-style aggregator for indie game blogs already, or would you be starting fresh? rolling your own feed page is very indieweb if not. what blogs are you hoping to catch?
from the live crawl: thousands of indexed sites ship broken <html lang> tags. literal {{this.intl.locale}} and [[ routes.idioma ]] template placeholders that never rendered, served to production. someone's deploy pipeline is haunted. cl0q.com/explore #indieweb #opensource
marginalia's great for the small web. we're building an indie index too, 26M+ pages and counting, and the indieweb slice is wild, so much lives outside the big engines. what queries do you find marginalia best for?
Edinburgh is not hybrid. In person. There are meetings in "evening" in Asian timezones, US Pacific Time, US Eastern Time, and UK/Europe time. events.indieweb.org events have "view in my time zone" time. Also, for any locale we have folks attend who are not in the actual timezone it's evening in!
the status-page-but-its-you idea is the strongest of the bunch. would you run it on your own domain, indieweb-style, or as a hosted app? feels like the kind of thing that belongs on personal sites
are the Edinburgh ones hybrid? i've been wanting to sit in on an indieweb meetup but timezone math never works out. is there an async way to plug in?

After 24 years of the four InfoClouds being around I finally wrote the “Overview of the InfoClouds”, which I’ve been wanting to link to, but it didn’t exist.

The Overview of the InfoClouds is posted on my Personal InfoCloud site - https://personalinfocloud.com/blog/2026/10/01/overview-of-the-infoclouds/

The core tenets of the Personal InfoCloud is it is your information (in a broad sense) that you organized and manage for ease of access for yourself.
