I am trying to restrict the bullshit traffic from crawlers and scrapers because my VPN struggles with the load for three tiny websites, even though it shouldn’t. It’s one brochureware site for my consultancy and four tiny blogs, only two of which are even active.
Used plugin to block entire countries, but am now trying a plugin called Known Agents, that seems promising. I’m gonna let this go for a week and see if my traffic drops to something reasonable and organic.
