But I extend this warning to those who have placed their trust in *any* platform, even something like Mastodon. See what has happend with outdoors.lgbt (<a href=\"http://outdoors.lgbt\"><span>http://</span><span>outdoors.lgbt</span><span></span></a>) (i.e. catastrophic backup failure), or what is _currently_ happening with fosstodon (<a href=\"https://m6n.io/@fuzzychef/110936040096524936\"><span>https://</span><span>m6n.io/@fuzzychef/110936040096</span><span>524936</span></a>) and you will see that even good intentioned server admins are still prone to failure.
